Below are the quick answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.

Do I need a credit card?

A credit Card is essential for collecting your car. The rental company will swipe your card to hold a deposit against it for the duration of the rental. The deposit amount will be shown on your voucher.

Which documents are needed to pick up a rental car?

As the main driver you will need your full, valid driving licence, international driving permit if required, car rental voucher and credit card to pick up the rental car.

What is included in the rental charges?

No hidden extras to pay – theft and damage cover included. A full list of inclusions and exclusions will be displayed for each supplier in their terms during the reservation process.

Can I rent a specific car model?

Most rental cars are hired on the basis of categories not specific models. There may be exceptions where a specific car model can be reserved – these will be displayed during the reservation process if applicable.

Can I change my booking and do I have to pay a cancellation fee?

There is no charge for amendments to reservations made at least 48 hours before collection. Your amendment may result in a higher or lower cost for the rental – this will be charged or refunded accordingly. The cancellation terms for each rental are set out during the reservation process, but are usually free for cancellations made at least 48 hours before collection.

Can I cross borders with my rental car?

Depending on location, travel into another country is most likely permitted, but will need to be checked with the supplier. There is an opportunity to request this during the reservation process.

Can I rent the car at one place and drop it off at another station?

One way rentals are usually permitted, a fee for this may apply and if so, will be displayed before you book your car.
