Pilot style seating converts to central tables. Many 7 seaters come with actual plug points in the USA, along with rear 12v charging points. Winter Tyres and Snow Chains – The Winterisation Fee Explained

What Does Winterisation Mean?

Winterisation is the process where a car hire company makes its vehicles safe to drive during winter months. This is achieved by adding winter tyres to vehicles in Europe and North America. Winter tyres are those displaying M+S – Mud and Snow – on the tyre wall. Snow chains may also be available to hire if relevant. Due to exceptional demand for one-way car hire from the San Francisco area to Southern California and Las Vegas, Dollar and Dollar Thrifty has instated seasonal one-way fees on some rentals from San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland. One way fees are payable locally and subject to taxes and fees.

One-Way Fee with National Car Hire changed.

The long standing blanket charge of $250 for a one-way fee, regardless of distance, has now been changed by National Car Hire.  The fee has increased to $399 (plus local taxes) effective immediately for all reservations collecting after 1st April 2014.  Existing reservations are unaffected by this change.

We have just heard that Alamo will provide a complimentary Sat Nav unit to any of our Alamo Diamond reservations made before 30 November 2013, for collection anytime before 14 December 2013.

There are some exclusions of course, the following car types are not included: Luxury Car and 8 Seater Van in Florida, Luxury, 8 Seater Van and 15 seater Van in California and Nevada, Luxury, 8 seater Van, 15 Seater Van and 7 Seater SUV in all other locations.
